Niamey, Nov. 25 (PNA) - The First Lady of Niger, Hadjia Khadija Bazoum, President of the Noor Foundation, chaired, this Friday, November 25, 2022, a high-level panel of First Ladies on the theme "the use and access to new information technologies by women transformers.
This panel, we note, is part of the Summit of African Women Transformers held in Niamey on the sidelines of the dual Summit of Heads of State and Government of the African Union on industrialization and economic diversification and on the FTAA.
This meeting constitutes a major advance for women in their struggle for inclusion and participation in the socio-economic development of African countries.
This panel will also contribute to boost the interest of women in innovation and popularization of their products through information technology and communication.
This meeting took place in the presence of the First Lady of Burundi, who came especially for the occasion, those of Mauritania, Gambia, Comoros and representatives of other First Ladies of Africa.
We also note the presence of women parliamentarians, members of the Noor Foundation, women transformers and several other guests.
